Jessica Clare Wong is a British Australian artist. Having arrived to painting in her later years, she is predominantly self taught spending spates of time at creative institutions and community groups developing her practice whilst working commercially in London to co-create high value funding opportunities to support emerging and mid career artists alongside the 2022 launch of a free to access public arts program that ran in partnership with Frieze Art Fair and BMW, opening London and Europe’s largest digital galleries. ​

Working primarily in oil on stretched linen, Wong’s work explores themes of the natural world, solitude and belonging through richly painted greenscapes that focus on the quiet magnitude of the world around us. Previous exhibitions include London Open at Whitechapel Gallery (2018), and HERE/NOW at Orange Regional Gallery (2025) alongside notable collaborations with actor and OAM recipient, Ray Meagher (sitter), and musical artist known as Kesha (performance).
